About the Event
Our goal is complex but the mission is straight forward. As a former Legge Calve Perthes Kid, I want to honor the kids that are enduring their own journey with LCPD. As an active endurance and mountain athlete, I take a prayer flag to summits of ice climbs, rock climbs, or mountains in their honor. Portions of that flag are sent the child directly along with a letter. Photos, stories of the climb will be posted so you and your child can follow along, and the children that are being honored on that climb along with their stories. This is a completely free service. All you have do is register your child at the link. If you feel obliged, we do have a donation link which will direct you to our PayPal page. All donations will go towards the cost of keeping the website running, buying the prayer flags, stamps, envelops…etc.
I hope your child is doing well all things considered and their spirits are high! WIth your love, compassion, and support they will come out of this stronger than before.
